Surface Treatments
NICKEL BALLS AND CHROME BALLS
On customer request the balls can be supplied with various surface treatments, such as rack chrome-plating, barrel chrome-plating and barrel nickel-plating.
The galvanic treatments are entrusted to experienced external companies that guarantee the quality of their service, trustworthy companies with whom Sferc works regularly and checks periodically.
There is also close collaboration with suppliers who perform Teflon and T.E.A.® treatments. In the event of specific interest, we can provide the names so that you can personally interact with them, without compromising the logistics of the order.
Chrome Plating
It is a galvanic rack treatmentwhich consists of coating the workpiece with a layer of nickel and then with a layer of chromium.
BARREL CHROME-PLATING
It is a galvanic barrel plating which consists in coating the ball with a layer of nickel and then with cobalt and tin.
BARREL NICKEL-PLATING
It is a barrel galvanic treatment which applies a coating of nickelthrough an electrolytic process.
